GOABA ANNUAL MEETING
Attendees at the annual meeting for the Greater Omaha Area USBC approved the actions of the Board and two Presidential Board appointments for the 2019-2020 season. Committee reports established the popular awards program, Bowling Buck$, will continue; the Association is in stable financial status; BVL campaign will run Nov 1-14; Hall of Fame inductees from the 2019-2020 season have been presented their awards and planning is underway for a traditional banquet in the 2021-2022 season. Nominations always accepted; Board still has room for a couple members; the In-House tournament and the Association City Tournament will be planned; Youth Bowler of the Year recipients from last year have been presented their awards. The banquet is scheduled for Aug. 22, 2021 for the winners from the 2020-2021 season. Youth tournament bids have gone out to the centers; Elections: the incumbent Vice President was re-elected; six current Board members were re-elected along with a nominee from the floor for two-year Board of Director terms; President Martin appointed two directors for the remaining year of two terms; the delegates for the USBC Convention of 2019-2020 were reaffirmed as delegates to the 2021-2022 USBC Convention/annual meeting; all board members were elected as delegates to the Nebraska State Annual Meeting.
